The Process
Step 1: Registration component.
- The first step is all about collecting registrations and making people be aware of your webinar.
- Do this through ads, social media, mailing lists, and other channels.
- Set up a very nice and clear landing to get your message out.
- Make the contents concise but enticing.
- Types of data you’d want to collect:
- Name
- You could start promoting your webinar around 2-3 weeks.
- Do not schedule it too far out from your launch date as it may lead to your audience forgetting about it.
- Calendar invites and email reminders are good ways to increase the likelihood of registrants going to the actual webinar.
- Be careful of sending too much, though. This may annoy some and can make them unsubscribe from your list.
Step 2: Send reminders.
- Once you got people registered for your webinar, the next thing to do is to make sure that they attend it.
- Send a reminder a day before the actual launch and 30 minutes before the start time.
Step 3: Innovate CRM tools.
- Innovating your CRM tools lets you keep your leads on record.
- You may also qualify your leads based on a couple of factors.
Step 4: Host the live webinar.
- Deliver your contents through various tools.
- Screen-sharing tools.
- Slides.
- Videos.
- Interactive polls.
- Engage with your audience. Be sure to be responsive whenever they have questions.
- Stay until the end so you can give them your offer/call to action.
- Take note of these components to make sure the smooth transition of your webinar:
- Prepare and do a dry run of the environment.
- Know where everything is – buttons, cameras, screens, etc.
- Practice the content you’ll deliver.
Step 5: Do your follow-up.
- Get in touch with the people who registered but did not attend your webinar.
- Evaluate the ones who attended and based on their interactions with your webinar, you may qualify them and even convert some into warm prospects.
- Sending replays to those who missed the live webinar should be done as soon as possible.
System Notes
- Get comfortable presenting.
- While webinars may require a lot of effort to execute, the return is significantly high.
